I’ve been blessed to be a student of Vishwesha Dhama. It started with Bhagavad Gita classes but subsequently I also got to learn basics of Sanskrit and Veda Suktas under Sri Raghavendra Aithal. Knowledge of the Bhagwad Gita has given me confidence, mental strength, and inner peace which has helped me grow personally and professionally. I try to regularly chant the chapters and I’m especially fond of chapters 11 and 15. Whenever I chant them, I’m filled with hope, belief, and assurance that I’m on the right path as Bhagwan Sri Krishna is with me. I am most grateful to Sri Raghavendra Aithal and Vishwesha Dhama for making a big difference to my life though the knowledge I have gained through them

BhuvanaNidhi’s life exemplifies how early passion, disciplined effort, and the blessings of dedicated Gurugalu can shape a culturally rooted and accomplished individual. Her journey began at the age of five in the spiritually enriching environment of Sri Vishwesha Dhama Gurukula, under the guidance of Sri Raghavendra Aithal Acharya, where learning was embraced as a way of life. This foundation instilled devotion, clarity, and enthusiasm, forming the core of her character.
Her academic and spiritual pursuits are deeply anchored in Sanskrit and sacred scriptures. She has mastered all 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Geetha, along with numerous stotras and shlokas such as Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, Krishna Ashtaka, and Dashavathara Stuti. Her studies extend to classical works like Amarakosha, Laghu Siddhanta Kaumudi, and portions of Raghuvamsha and Kumara Sambhavam Mahakavyas, including detailed interpretations (Shloka, Artha, Anvaya, Bhavartha). She also engaged in Sarala Samskrita Sambashnam, quizzes on epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana, and other cultural assessments, reflecting the depth and joy of Gurukula learning.
Despite selective participation, BhuvanaNidhi has earned numerous accolades, showcasing her brilliance and dedication. Her notable achievements include Sarvotthama Award at age 9, multiple first prizes in Prathibha competitions, and prestigious titles like Geetha Rathna Award and Gita Star Award. She has been recognized by eminent institutions such as Poorna Pragna Vidyapeetha, Sringeri Shankar Mutta, ISKCON, and others. Additionally, she completed five levels of Sura Saraswati Sabha examinations with top rankings.
Her journey stands as a testament to the transformative power of traditional learning, devotion, and cultural excellence, inspiring others to uphold Bharathiya heritage while striving for personal growth.
Among the many disciples of Shri Raghavendra Acharya, Eshaana stands out as a remarkable example of dedication and learning. He joined Shri Vishweshadhama Gurukula at the tender age of six. While pursuing his regular school education, he began attending evening classes at the Gurukula four days a week. Even as a school student, Eshaana displayed above-average academic ability. Under the special guidance and blessings of Shri Raghavendra Aithal Acharya, coupled with his own perseverance, he memorized stotras, Amarakosha, and root words at an age that astonished everyone. The Acharya’s affection and care for him played a pivotal role in shaping his intellectual growth. It was evident that even a mild reprimand from the Acharya would cause himself a deep regret, reflecting his compassionate nature—“harder than a diamond, yet softer than a flower.”
Shri Acharya’s teaching methodology was exceptionally clear and precise, with discipline as his foremost priority. The diversity in his lessons inspired enthusiasm among students. We have witnessed firsthand how even an average student could transform into an outstanding scholar under his guidance—an enduring testament to his unique approach.
Eshaana’s sacred thread ceremony (Upanayana) was conducted in the presence of the Acharya. Prior to the ceremony, the Acharya taught him the mantras for Sandhyavandana, and after the ritual, he personally instructed him in the Vedic portions. Remarkably, within just two months of summer vacation, the Acharya covered an entire year’s syllabus from another Gurukula, including Raghuvamsha, Kumarasambhava, Manimanjari, hundreds of subhashitas, Mahasankalpa, Upanishads, Pavamana, Rudradhyaya, and numerous suktas. Whenever time permitted, he would invite Eshaana and his sister Maya for lessons. Maya, who began her Sanskrit journey under the Acharya’s guidance, continues to excel academically.
Despite the growing number of students at the Gurukula, the Acharya devoted considerable time to Eshaan—a gesture we shall never forget. We have learned that Shri Raghavendra Aithal himself was an exemplary student during his academic years. At Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha, he served as a distinguished teacher, specializing in Vedic studies. Vedic Saraswati seemed to reside in his voice, ensuring flawless intonation for those who learned under him. Notably, both Eshaan and his father received Vedic instruction directly from the Acharya.
In 2019, following the Acharya’s advice, we enrolled Eshaan at Vidyapeetha—a decision that proved immensely beneficial. He consistently scored above 90 marks and developed an effortless ability to comprehend complex lessons. Today, in his seventh year of study, he continues to secure top ranks, a testament to the Acharya’s tireless efforts and blessings.

My son, Master Ranga Vitthala, is a former student of Shri Vishweshadham Gurukula. Ever since his sacred thread ceremony (Upanayanam), we have wished for him to learn Vedic chanting, hymns, and scriptures. While searching for a Gurukula nearby, we came across Shri Vishweshadham Gurukula. We were delighted to learn that its Acharya, Shri Raghavendra Aithal, is a disciple of Shri Vishweshatirtha of Pejavara Math and a highly learned scholar. With great joy, we enrolled him there.
The disciplined atmosphere, the unique teaching methods for children, and the overall environment impressed us greatly. During his time there, Ranga Vitthala learnt around 18 hymns, including Purusha Sukta, Shri Sukta, Vishnu Sukta, Balittha Sukta, Agni Sukta, and Rudra Sukta, among others. Listening to these recitations brought us immense joy. Later, he developed a keen interest in scriptural studies and is now pursuing the study of ‘Khandana Traya’ at Shri Vedavyasa Vidyapeetha in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad.
Adapting to the Vidyapeetha environment is usually challenging for most children. However, thanks to the discipline and structured learning imparted by Acharya Aithal, Ranga Vitthala found life at the Vidyapeetha much easier. The study of Raghuvamsha Kavya at the Gurukula laid a strong foundation for his later studies of ‘Manimanjari’ and ‘Sumadhva Vijaya’ there. With programmes like Rasaprashne and other activities, Shri Vishweshadham Gurukula truly feels like a second home for the children. It has accomplished the noble task of instilling Indian cultural values and traditions in them, while nurturing an interest in scriptural learning. This is truly commendable and worthy of emulation.
We sincerely hope that this Gurukula continues to serve Mother India by preserving and promoting the Indian scriptural tradition and the Madhva lineage with an even greater number of students. - Shri Kiran Sangli (Vedic Priest)
